“[Sources close to the Penguins organization] said the tone from the public side has been unduly adversarial for the last two months, including a table-pounding outburst by Mr. [PA Governor Ed] Rendell during a Jan. 18 meeting.”

Well, your OpenID worked.
When I got the alert email for the LJ comment, though, it stated that it came from “ext_36011″, which looked awful spamish.
So, are you in for Money Ballz again this year? You almost won last year… You should have the invite in your inbox somewhere.

You know, as much as I’d hate to see the Pens move, I’d really like to see Nashville twice a year and Washington (and specifically Alex Ovechkin) four times. I figure if the Pens move to KC, they’d move Nashville out of the Central division to make room for them, then move Washington into Pittsburgh’s old spot in the Atlantic to make room for the Preds in the Southeast. Plus, a renewal of the old Patrick Division rivalries with the Isles and Flyers…

Yay, comments on my link posts!
Brian: I wonder if the spammy address is a LJ thing or a WP.com thing. Does LJ usually send the alert emails from the email address of the commenter?
I haven’t seen anything about Money Ballz in my Gmail, so I’ll check my Yahoo mail. That’s make three Yahoo Fantasy BB leagues this year, a record for me. I might have watched one game all of last year.
Don: You’ve thought that scenario through, haven’t you? I think it would be crazy for Pittsburgh and Pennsylvania to let the Penguins leave. I posted the comment thinking that Rendell probably doesn’t care a whole lot about Pittsburgh sports franchises…
